My career in television started over 20 years ago at a facility house in Leeds. I then joined ITV Yorkshire where I spent an enjoyable 10 years experiencing Production, Post Production and Transmission before venturing into the world of Self Employment starting ‘Mandy Miller Broadcast Services’. In September 2011 I began trading as a Limited Company and in April 2012 my husband became a director of the company and we now run the company together. We are looking forward to growing the business and providing a wider range of services over the coming months and years.I have worked on thousands of hours of broadcast television ranging from commercials to award winning dramas. I have been privileged to work for some of the country’s top Production Companies gaining experience in all genres. I am passionate about my work, committed and thorough. In 2008 I was awarded RTS Unsung Hero of the Year and was also Coordinator of the Post Production team winning RTS Craft Team Award for ‘The Royal Today’. In 2009 I was again nominated for my role as Post Production Co-ordinator for the RTS Craft Team Award this time for ‘Spooks Code:9’. I am a registered First Aider and have a certificate in Production Health & Safety. In the last year I have completed courses in Project Management and Developing Managements Skills.I am proud to be on the RTS Yorkshire Centre committee. For over 80 years, the RTS has provided the UK’s main platform for debate about the future of television. Specialties: Working in close communication with both Production and Post to ensure all information is gathered to complete transmission paperwork. This includes: Clearances, timecoded scripts, PasC and music cue sheets. Whilst I specialise in transmission paperwork, I am also a Post Production and ADR Co-ordinator.
