North Maple Regional Park - $25M Design/Build Assignment for the City of Vaughan. Involved in the pre-qualification phase, estimating, and project execution. Responsible for the coordination of all project aspects including design deliverables, construction submittals, RFI & SI tracking, change orders, project schedule, meeting coordination and minutes, client relations, subcontractor management, and site operations.

Involved in estimating and transition upon project award. Responsibilities included pricing, quote coordination, technical proposal, coordination between JV Partners, and preparation of project execution plans.

As a member of the Distributed Team, I helped to facilitate programs and events through 40+ Chapters across Canada in collaboration with EWB’s National Office. I was also involved in the initial phases of EWB Canada’s strategic planning process which will shift the focus of the organization in the upcoming years.

As Chapter President I was responsible for managing a team of 14 executives. This included facilitating executive meetings, overseeing the management of events, and providing individual support as needed. I was also responsible for leading our chapter through a transition into the online environment. Additionally, I maintained ongoing communication with EWB's national office and ensured all chapter activities were completed in accordance with the policies of the organization.

As VP Operations I worked closely with the executive team to modify the structure of our chapter to better suit the interests of our general members. I also launched a new format of member learning sessions which better align with the goals set out of EWB's National Office, while also being mindful of students' busy schedules. The topics of these member learning sessions included: systems mapping, impact investing, and social change burnout.

As VP Operations and Finance I was responsible for all chapter recruitment initiatives, weekly newsletters, establishing chapter direction, and assisting in the organization of planning meetings and events. I created a new portfolio, Community Outreach, aimed to involve general members in volunteer initiatives across the Waterloo Region. This portfolio also encompassed fundraising initiatives for EWB's It Takes a Village Campaign.

I prepared cost estimates and technical proposals for heavy civil construction projects across Southern Ontario. Notable projects included a dam rehabilitation project in Burleigh Falls, ON and work packages for the river restoration project at the Toronto Port Lands.

ENVenture Enterprises partners community-based organizations with a business development fellow to launch a business enterprise selling clean energy technologies. I was paired with an organization, the Hope 21 Project, based in Kampala, Uganda. The Hope 21 Project had stopped all project activities in 2016 and wished to relaunch. Working alongside the Executive Director, I completed market research in the communities, fostered relationships between the organization and the local council leaders, and compiled and updated the organization's documentation system. I also authored grant proposals to obtain additional funding for the clean energy business and other projects focused on economic empowerment. In addition to gaining an understanding of international development, I broadened my perspective on the numerous opportunities for sustainable development which exist within sub-Saharan Africa.

Instructed and mentored 12-13 year-old children in the sports of kayaking, canoeing and stand-up paddle boarding. Worked with them on skill development preparing them for future ORCKA courses.

Counselor for a group of 15 6-8 year old girls. Guided the girls between activities and assisted the activity specialists when necessary. Worked with the girls on behaviour management and helped them develop both their hard and soft skills.
