Mandy is an award wining public relations and marketing consultant with over 30 years industry experience. She has helped public, private and third sector organisations manage their corporate reputation through periods of major changeStarting her career as a market researcher she moved into services and facility marketing in the public sector before working in corporate public relations. She has experience of working as the lead PR professional in large, complex public bodies and partnerships. She has managed all aspects of PR from internal communications to campaigns as well as engagement and public affairs. Her crisis communications experience includes shipwrecks, major fires, deaths in care, flooding and bombs.Mandy holds an MBA and has been involved with managing corporate digital strategy and customer relations. Her focus on engaging publics and using evidence to drive PR practice has led her from using traditional market research techniques to developing online engagement, customer insight and data analytics.She has worked as an independent consultant for over 10 years. Mandy’s consultancy work spans charitable and public bodies as well as clients in the planning, property, energy and construction sectors.
