I am an educator with 13 years of experience teaching, mentoring, and collaborating with students, parents, and other professionals. I spent the first 3.5 years of my career teaching at Upper Arlington High School where I taught Environmental Science, Physical Science and Biology. After my time at UAHS I began teaching 7th grade science at Jones Middle School. My experiences have taken me far outside of teaching in a classroom. I have enjoyed planning meaningful service projects, field experiences and community building trips. I have been actively involved in district curriculum writing and implementation.I earned my Master's Degree in School Counseling from University of Dayton. My counseling Practicum and Internships were completed at Upper Arlington High School and Jones Middle School where I ran small groups, individual counseling sessions and career and college education and planning. Through the years I am happy to have developed strong relationships by being positive, creative and approachable. I have a passion for recognizing and cultivating people’s strengths and helping them to meet their goals.
