I oversee marketing and business development for 6 STRONG MEDIA, a Chattanooga-based video production and animation agency that works with hundreds of local, national, and international companies. My role is to use my experience and expertise to help 6 STRONG establish a dominant position as the leading provider of high-end video production and animation services in the Chattanooga market.

During my tenure at GPS, I was responsible for overseeing all fundraising and donor cultivation events such as donor appreciation parties, cocktail receptions, Lunch N'​ Learns, auctions, community luncheons, phonathons, ribbon cutting ceremonies, and Alumnae Weekend events. I was fortunate to have the opportunity to work with key staff and volunteers to create Mad, Bad & Dangerous, an entrepreneurial conference that focuses on women, girls, and the men who support them.

I oversaw the Chamber's eleven area councils, International Business Council and the Chamber Smart Buys affinity program. Managing these programs included driving vision, streamlining processes, communicating and marketing special projects and events, recruiting, retaining and supervising board members, leadership training, event planning, budgeting, mentoring and relationship building with local business and community leaders. Under my leadership, the Chattanooga Area Chamber's Office Depot Smart Buys offering was ranked in the top five, among 800 Chambers nationally, in annual sales volume

• Established relationships in the business community to recruit participants for four leadership programs including Focus Louisville, IGNITE Louisville, Leadership Louisville and Bingham Fellows.• Assisted corporate sponsors to ensure they took advantage of and maximized marketing opportunities while also working with staff to ensure all promised benefits were executed and delivered.• Administered annual membership drive which involved contacting current, delinquent and prospective members to encourage membership renewal.

•Produced, monitored and forecasted nine budget centers including events, Ambassadors and retention budgets.•Developed, implemented and monitored retention goals for Chamber. The retention rate for the 2007-08 fiscal year increased from 86% to 88%.•Implemented new collection process for membership dues, which included developing renewal and delinquent dues statement stuffers along with re-vamping collection letters and e-mails.•Managed Chamber Champions sponsorship program that resulted in collecting over $130,000 in sponsorships for five major Chamber events during 2007-08 fiscal year.•Managed the Chamber Ambassadors program by providing outlets for Ambassadors to contact Chamber members to build business relationships while assisting the Chamber in retention efforts. The Ambassadors increased from 50 to 140 volunteers in one year.

•Developed and oversaw seven event budget centers with revenues in excess of $400,000.•Supervised Chamber’s five major events along with ribbon cuttings, seminars, AM Networking events, and Business After Hours. •Created an educational seminar series entitled Business Building Blocks that averaged 40 people per event, doubling the initial seminar goal.•Developed a speed networking event entitled Quick Connect which afforded members the opportunity to focus their sales approach to 16 other companies in a two-hour period.

•Solicited, negotiated and booked new and repeat catering business, including corporate and social events, by performing outside sales calls, telemarketing, direct mailings, networking and walk-in inquires, etc.•Strategically called existing customers to maintain positive business relationships.•Assisted clients with event planning by serving as an event consultant which included offering suggestions for entertainment, décor, and logistics. •Provided weekly oral report of upcoming events to entire hotel management team.•Supervised events to ensure staff was efficiently working together to execute the best event possible.•Used Delphi, computer database, to track events, log appointments, and follow up with clients.
