• Lead UX designer charged with creating the visual identity across all digital platforms including responsive websites, emails, forms, blogs, and mobile app • Define UX vision and strategy by understanding the purpose of the platform, gaining insights into our target audience through data gathered from various sources (focus groups, surveys and analytics), developing user personas, identifying user experience technologies and trends that should be considered for inclusion, leading brainstorming sessions, and establishing design principles (visibility, findability, and learnability) • Prepare and design low-to-high fidelity wireframes and functional prototypes that meet usability standards, accessibility standards (AODA for Ontario), and best practices for site content types and SEO • Collaborate closely with Marketing team to ensure websites align with organization's branding and communication guideline, and adhere to the mission and core values • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to present design concepts clearly and persuasively to colleagues, partners, stakeholders, and especially to senior executives• Research and identify new trends and insights on digital and interactive design, SEO best practices and navigational models, and apply to websites; also works with website performance measuring tools (SiteImprove) to enhance content quality, work towards accessibility compliance and drive search engine traffic
