- Pioneered the development of Psychological Counselling system and conducting individual counselling sessions where emotional, behavioural and academic problems in children with Thalassemia major were addressed.- Pioneering the mandatory psychological screening of all children with Thalassemia major to improve their quality of life.- Awareness of the disorder through psychoeducation of thalassemia and its preventive measures targeted to parents of children with the disorder.- Applied research projects about various aspects of thalassemia, the dynamics of such families, levels of awareness, questionnaire construction, etc.

- Supervised psychotherapy sessions with children, adolescents and adults through various approaches, mainly CBT and Art as Therapy.- Conducting psychodiagnositc and psychotherapeutic tests to develop a better insight of presenting problem(s) and devise strategies accordingly.- Parental Management Training.- Reports for clients and family members to facilitate the therapeutic progress.
