Operation related trouble shooting, On job training & development.Planning of Raw Material & production consumables Finalization of requirements of materials and specifications in consultation with collaborators. Determining technical specifications.Vendor Development Identifying and developing a dedicated and alternate vendor source for, achieving cost effective purchases of raw materials and reduction in delivery time. Assessment of the performance of the vendors based on various criterion such as percentage for, rejections, quality improvement rate, timely delivery, credit terms etc. Follow-up with vendors for timely deliveries and quality checks.Inventory Control Streamlining the system and procedures for effective inventory control for ensuring ready availability of materials to meet the production targets. Accountable for meeting customer orders by designing, implementing and monitoring effective procurement schedules along with finalising the specifications of the materials and establishing the quality & quantity limits for effective inventory control.
