(Collaborator: Dr. Ali Roghanian, University of Southhampton, UK)➃ Evaluated the efficacy of therapeutic antibodies to mediate antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity and antibody-dependent cell phagocytosis.➄ Led interdisciplinary scientist team from White Head Institute, MIT, and performed PET imaging on humanized mice using a single-domain antibody against human MHC II as a non-invasive method to monitor anti-cancer immune response. During my PhD, I demonstrated the preclinical efficacy of a tetracycline derivative in suppressing chronic immune activation induced by HIV-1 replication. I participated in a study assessing the efficacy of RIAD-P3 peptidomimetic in limiting HIV-1 viral replication via the cAMP/PKA-I pathway.I proved that the genetic deletion of DUSP3 phosphatase confers M2-like macrophage-dependent tolerance to septic shock. I also investigated the effect of protein kinase A anchoring disruption in T cells and its influence on retrovirus-induced immunodeficiency in LP-BM5-infected RAID-transgenic mice.Lastly, I evaluated the efficacy of therapeutic antibodies in mediating cellular cytotoxicity and cell phagocytosis.

My work was focused on molecular diagnostic studies during Japanese encephalitis and Chikungunya virus outbreaks in India and elucidate the impact of genetic variation in HIV co-receptors.
