Job Responsibilities- Liability calculations using ProVal to obtain the Funding and Accounting results, for qualified, non-qualified pension plans and Accounting results for the OPEB plans- Performing the Gain / Loss analysis to check the reasons for the maximum and minimum liability differences (expected versus actual) and reconciling the assets using the Asset Smoothing Method (Actuarial Value of Assets)Trainings Undertaken- Extensive MS Excel training - Functioning of ProVal and Relius software - Understanding the liability calculations for OPEB conversions and Asset reconciliation methods such as Asset Smoothing Method- Performing Gain/ Loss analysis and calculations for the disclosures to be prepared at the end of the measurement year
