Night operations supervisor at Regent Street Flagship Store.

Main duties:

To manage daily replenishment and complete 50% of the store every night.

Increase product knowledge of the team and be aware of the new lines every night planning for the next deliveries and manage efficiently the product available on the shop floor and all the stockrooms.

To manage and complete the delivery process on time in line with the company guidelines and time studies.

To manage delivery productivity and replenishment efficiency.

To organize overstock and clear it before the opening of the next day.

To report to senior management any issues affecting productivity of the team with Excel reports and effective written communication.

To work with the visual merchandising team to prepare every night the new lines that need to be merchandised immediately after their arrival.

To support senior management with Stocktake process minimising loss and being cost effective with every procedure.

Main responsible for health & safety of the building during the night hours, ensuring a good housekeeping is maintained after every delivery, identifying potential risk for the employees and customers and communicating with the security/first aider person at all times.

To develop a team orientated department encouraging the employees from the induction, following with daily briefs, training and developing the individuals.

To support the General Manager and Operations manager with recruitment, preparation of monthly rotas, daily planners, payroll and holidays as well as performance managing the staff and completing their performance reviews.

Some of the tasks performed are:

• To monitor warehouse performance and organization in order to identify deficiencies and apply appropriate corrective and preventive actions, effectively implementing new quality procedures.

• To continuously review warehouse systems, including involvement in the new software system, NAVISION.

• Recruitment, training and supervision of the warehouse staff, including management and work scheduling of the employees; monitoring the performance and progress, motivating, organising and encouraging teamwork within the workforce to ensure set productivity targets are met.

• To receive all deliveries for any of the different departments in the company following all SOP applying to Goods ensuring all goods are delivered to the production area in order to achieve the targets planned efficiently and cost effectively.

• To verify that all licenses available are ready for production to start packaging as soon as possible, reducing the amount of Stock on hold and ensuring every job is on the designated area of the warehouse according to its status.

• To control the flow of any damages from our suppliers working together with Purchasing and Accounts departments to ensure the prompt and effective credit of any claim and the return of the damaged goods to their supplier if required.

• Working with QA and RA teams as appropriate to ensure that any deviations and investigations are carried out in a timely fashion and that any corrective actions are communicated.

• Quickly and effectively resolve all customer returns and queries, checking and crediting them to maintain a good level of satisfaction thereof.
