I’m Professor in the Tomas Cerda Computer Science School (University Autonoma of Barcelona - UAB), Spain (www.eug.es). Currently I’m Managing Director of Gimbernat Formación, the Vocational Studies Unit (Formación Profesional) of the Fundació Privada Escoles Universitaries Gimbernat. As Managing Director, I'm responsible of the daily operations of the Unit, and in addition, I'm member of the executive commision (board of directors) of the Fundation. In addition I’m Postdoctoral Researcher in the Research Group HPC4EAS (High Performance Computing for Efficient Applications and Simulation - http://grupsderecerca.uab.cat/hpc4eas/) of the University Autonoma of Barcelona (UAB). I'm member of the International Program Committee (https://healthinf.scitevents.org/ProgramCommittee.aspx) of HEALTHINF 2024 - HEALTHINF 2024 - INSTICC (https://healthinf.scitevents.org). As member of the International Programe Committe I have the honour to join the team of reviewers responsible of reviewing the papers (both, regular and position one) presented for being accepted and publicated by INSTICC.I studied Business Administration at the University of Barcelona, Spain. In July 2013 I finished my Ph.D. Thesis (Cum Laude), consisting in the design and development of an Agent-Based Decision Support System for Hospital Emergency Departments (More details in: https://www.novapublishers.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=43094)I was an active member of the Junior Chamber International (http://www.jci.cc/guests/) from 1994 until 2010. I carried out different positions in the Board of Directors (Treasurer, LOM Vice President, LOM President, National Vice President, National President). I was distinguished as JCI Senator in January of 2000 (Senator No 60.679) and as Outstanding European Member in 2003. From 1999 until 2002 I was member of the Executive Committee responsible of the organization of the “2001 JCI World Congress” (hosted in Barcelona, with the participation of 4,320 attendees from more than 100 different countries).
