I served as the technical engineering lead for the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Disaster Emergency Communications Division (DECD). In this role, I led market research and analysis efforts to assess the maturity of over 150 emergency communications technologies, and developed a Technology Roadmap that served as the Division's core strategic plan for future technology investments. I also served as a subject matter expert leading Tactical Communications (TACCOM) architecture efforts for Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Operational Components. I defined a tailored methodology to identify strategic improvement opportunities and developed a prioritized transition plan, which was adopted by the DHS Deputy Chief Architect as a guide for other architecture efforts across DHS.

I served as the Configuration Management (CM) Lead for the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Global Electromagnetic Spectrum Information System (GEMSIS) Program Management Office (PMO) by defining tailored CM processes, analyzing potential CM tools, and developing and implementing the organization's CM Plan.Prior to the DISA GEMSIS role, I served as the Wireless Engineering Lead for the U.S. Army Materiel Command (AMC) Chief Technology Officer (CTO). In this role, I led various technical initiatives including thin client computing, wireless infrastructure, enterprise data warehousing, and business intelligence. I developed enterprise wireless infrastructure guidance documentation and provided technical advisory services for the implementation of wireless networks at AMC depots and arsenals in accordance with DoD and Army Information Assurance policies.Prior to the AMC CTO role, I provided technical engineering support for the design and development of the National Guard Bureau's (NGB) next generation deployable communications solution for all 56 U.S. states and territories by leading data gathering and requirements analysis efforts, analyzing emerging communications technologies and conducting capability gap analyses, designing state-of-the-art tactical communications systems, developing acquisition package materials, and supporting operations and maintenance (O&M) activities.
