I have a background in mechanical engineering, great passion for scientific research, and interest in the automotive industry. I completed a 3 year Ph.D. school in industrial engineering with a dissertation on "Design, optimization and control of electrification-oriented waste heat recovery systems based on the organic Rankine cycle for heavy-duty vehicles". Thanks to this experience I learned to be proactive and independent in my work and developed teaching skills. I enjoy working as part of a team, with colleagues and students. As an Erasmus student in France and a visiting scholar in the USA, I acquired an international mindset and became confident in interacting in different languages. I am currently a research associate. My interests include thermodynamics and energy systems, with particular attention to the transportation sector, internal combustion engines, waste heat recovery and hybrid electric vehicles control and optimization. I have a strong motivation in developing more clean and efficient vehicles and improving mobility.
