- Founded "Eco Eficiencia Empresarial", an environmental strategy designed to assist companies in implementing measurement and mitigation practices for their environmental impact. Implemented by more than 250 companies in Costa Rica, Panama, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua and Guatemala.- Led the Public-Private Alliance between the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Environment and Energy and the AED for the development of the National Recycling Strategy of Costa Rica, including a national consultation with more than 300 stakeholders.- Led a consultation process with the Costa Rican private sector to define the national contributions (NDC) to be presented at COP21 in Paris, France with the support of the Climate Change Direction of the Ministry of Environment and Energy of Costa Rica and the Program of United Nations for Development.- Developed with INCAE Business School, GiZ and the IntegraRSE Network the first adaptation tool for the Central American private sector, "AdaptaRSE“, and implemented a pilot with companies from all over the Central American region.- Led the creation (Local Governments certification) and redesign (Agricultural and Livestock certification, Climate Change certification, Sustainable Home certification and the Schools certification) for the Blue Flag Program in Costa Rica.- Raised capital for the development of different environmental initiatives from diverse sources, such as, International Cooperation, Non-Governmental Organizations, Governments and private Investors.

- Founded Productos KyC, an agro-industrial company dedicated to the development and marketing of innovative food products based on a triple bottom line strategy.- Led the Introduction and positioning of more than 12 products in the national market and export 6 products to the US market.- Raised capital to start operations and for additional financing for growth, technological improvement, export and promotion, and marketing strategies.- Designed and developed product line which was awarded “Most Innovative Product 2009” by El Financiero, a leading regional business newspaper.- Nominated by Costa Rican Chamber of Commerce for “Most Innovative Company 2009” (CRECEX).- Nominated by Costa Rican Chamber of Exporters for Export Effort Award in 2009 (CADEXCO).
