My superpower is my phenomenal interviewing skillset. I have been trained in NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) and I use this skillset to help my interviewees feel comfortable in front of the camera and share their story in the most effective way possible. Over the course of over a decade running this business, I was hired by many corporations, television networks and also partnered with community organizations to make magic happen. Although I may no longer be a director and producer, I will ALWAYS say yes to opportunities where I get to return behind the camera and use my NLP interviewing skillset. Past clients:Videos for CBC, Shaw, Life Labs, Insurance Institute of BC, Mastercard Foundation, Field Director for Tony Robbins' 60th Birthday documentary + various other corporate videos, Hallmark movies and lifestyle/reality television content. http://tellyourstoryproductions.weebly.com
Producing and Directing for MANY corporate videos, producing for live TV news segments and over a dozen lifestyle television shows.
Received $75,000 grant from TELUS Optik Local to teach 12 at-risk youth filmmaking skills and partner them with 12 senior citizens for a project called. “What Generation Gap?”. Each student created 2 films, one in their own story and another on the senior citizen they were paired with. Tell Your Story Productions Inc partnered with The City of Surrey and Surrey School District for this phenomenal community project. Additionally, the project received over $40,000 in community sponsorships. All films can be viewed on TELUS Optik Local VOD channels in BC.

Segment Producer for A, B and C storylines for E! show Relatively Nat & Liv. I juggled segments happening in 4 different cities all at once at one point (as the sole segment producer at that stage for the show): the UK, Vancouver, LA and Calgary. I also produced segments for our Whistler episode as well (in conjunction with another skilled segment producer who I consider a mentor). I made magic happen for TV. We (the production team) heard murmurs that one of the main characters of the show could have a long lost sibling who was adopted out. The main character's mother was deceased. I was entrusted in handling this storyline and I reached out to the BC and Alberta governments to find this long lost sibling (not knowing if they even existed). Paperwork for such query's typically takes over a year. I made magic happen for television and not only did I find the long lost sibling, but I had both meet on camera within 5 weeks of my starting the search. Producers such as me have many transferable skills. Our egos make us think we are ninja's who can make the impossible happen. This experience taught me that when I set my mind on a goal, I will achieve it.
