Mang Ye is currently a Full Professor at the School of Computer Science, Wuhan University. He received the PhD degree from Hong Kong Baptist University in 2019, supported by Hong Kong PhD Fellowship. He received the B.Sc and M.Sc degrees from Wuhan University in 2013 and 2016. He worked as a Research Scientist at Inception Institute of Artificial Intelligence from 2019-2020 and worked as a Visiting Scholar at Columbia University in 2018. He has published more than 60 papers, including 60+ CCF-A papers as the first/corresponding author. He received 8000+ citations, including those from 2 Turing awardees (Geoffrey Hinton and Yann Lecun). Ten papers are ESI Highly Cited. He has served as the Associate Editor for the top-tier journal IEEE TIFS, and Area Chair for top-tier conferences, including CVPR, ECCV, ICLR and ACM MM. He received the National Science Foundation of China (NSFC) Excellent Youth Fund (Overseas).
