Since mid-2018, I have been working at IvyPrep as an English teacher. In this role, I am responsible for preparing students for US standardised tests (SSAT, PSAT, and SAT), as well as IELTS. My duties include designing courses and adapting curricula on demand to best suit students' needs and abilities. I prepare daily lesson reports and consistently assess students' progress.To enhance teaching quality, I utilise various curriculum resources and technologies to improve student learning. Staying informed about current topics in education is crucial for me as a teacher.Over my three years at IvyPrep, I have been credited as "The Most Favourite Teacher of The Year" (2018), "The Inspirer" (2019), and "The Idol Teacher of The Year" (2020).

As the former Deputy Academic Manager at IvyPrep, I oversaw teacher resource management, quality control, and training, collaborating across departments. I managed teacher recruitment, monitored progress, and addressed performance issues through training and coaching. Additionally, I played a key role in academic operations, contributing to planning, customer service, and achieving operational targets. This involved showcasing student results, fostering collaboration, and handling contests. I provided support to Academic Operation Leaders, conducted professional training, and assisted with new course implementations. I offered advice on teaching policies, engaged in team members' personal development, and represented IvyPrep at important events.

The mission involves fostering multi-language proficiency, drawing knowledge from advanced countries, and cultivating leadership skills in students.In November 2018, the Newton Inter-School System officially became a member of EQuest Education Group.My role involves preparing and delivering comprehensive instruction to students preparing for the SAT. I am responsible for helping students develop the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in the SAT, a standardised test widely used for college admissions in the United States. My job includes creating lesson plans, teaching test-taking strategies, providing practice materials, and assessing student progress through assignments, quizzes, and mock tests. My guidance and expertise play a crucial role in helping students achieve their best possible scores on the SAT, thereby enhancing their chances of gaining admission to their desired colleges and universities.

Between January to June 2020, I was tasked with managing the "Mastery" project at IvyPrep. My role involved training in-house teachers to become skilled SAT instructors. Initially, we started with a month of traditional offline training, but due to the Covid-19 outbreak, the entire programme shifted to an online delivery format. Alongside my teaching commitment, I took on a new position as Academic Campus Manager at IvyPrep from early 2019 to early 2020. The scope of this role included managing academic operations across three of IvyPrep’s campuses. My responsibilities ranged from overall management and coordination, educational community development to academic quality and student care.This position required me to develop yearly and quarterly objectives and action plans as well as to initiate new ideas in order to build up IvyPrep Education as a premier “one-stop-shop” college-preparatory campus with an English immersion, skill-based learning, and blended learning model.

In October 2017, I began a new position as operations manager, concurrently with my teaching role. I was responsible for hiring and training academic staff, as well as establishing consultancy and student care systems. I directly and indirectly engaged with students and parents regarding our ongoing courses and communicated effectively and promptly with parents about students’ progress.

In my role at Ivycation, I provided instruction in SAT and ACT (US standardised tests). My tasks included teaching both at the campus and online for international students. I was also responsible for designing new SAT courses and customising established ones. During tutoring sessions, I leveraged my flexibility to adapt the course outline to address each student’s weaknesses and find solutions to overcome them.In early 2017, I team-taught the Leadership course, where students gained knowledge of leadership and developed their understanding of social projects and their significant impact on underprivileged communities. I guided them through practical teaching opportunities and shared my experiences in running social projects. It was my role to counsel them in generating ideas for new projects, while other teachers provided lessons in funding and marketing.In this role, I had the opportunity to work independently as well as part of a team, in a multicultural environment, respecting and benefiting from a diverse team of members.

At Eton Grammar English School, I taught English to young learners aged 4 to 11. I was responsible for instructing various skills and creatively utilizing course resources.Working with young learners, it was crucial to be sensitive to their needs and maintain open communication with parents. Some of the children I taught experienced a range of mental disorders, such as anxiety, autism, and ADHD.

Ba Vì District, Hanoi, Vietnam

I worked full-time as an internal project manager at Safe Living. This organisation collaborated closely with the Centre for Medical Treatment, Education and Social Work Number 2 in Ba Vi (Hanoi). The project aimed to help children living with HIV integrate into the community. The residents were young people, aged 14-21, who had mostly been abandoned by their parents suffering from HIV/AIDS, imprisoned for drug-related offences, or were in residential rehabilitation centres.My main duty in this role was to develop action plans and create a four-month training schedule in the areas of English language, computer science, and life skills such as money literacy and mental preparedness. I also regularly consulted with the caregivers in the centre to discuss the study programme and monitor their progress.

At Enactus (Hanoi University), formerly known as SIFE, I was a core member of Hanoi Homevisit, an international student organisation. The project aimed to provide foreign tourists with a deeper insight into Vietnamese traditions, bringing happiness and spiritual benefits to the host family. My main responsibility was to establish a standardized tour-guiding procedure that met a high level of professionalism.To promote the project and attract more visitors, I efficiently collaborated with tourist agencies and regularly conducted product demonstrations to convey the project’s purpose and value. Additionally, I proactively communicated with my counselor to enhance the operations of the project.In December 2012, two other team members and I represented SIFE in presenting Hanoi Homevisit at the Youth Entrepreneurship Competition. The merit of the project itself and our persuasive presentation earned SIFE the highest prize, bringing pride to my school, Hanoi University.
