• Performing all metallurgical testing as per International & Aramco procedures.• Carry out the corrosion tests as per ASTM, NACE, & Aramco procedures & other project specification to determine the susceptibility of material to corrosion in various service conditions like IGC, G28, G48, G1,A262, Practice A & E, A923, A1084 etc.• Metallographic examinations on various materials to be determine grain size, cleanliness, volume percentage of phases, inclusion as per E45 and general microstructure evaluation.• Macro examination as per ASME, API and general macro testing.• Performing Hardness as per Aramco & NACE drawing with using HV10Kg load as per ASTM E92 & also doing Micro Hardness range from HV 0.1Kg to 1 Kg load as per ASTM E384.• Carry out the mechanical tests for material properties evaluation and weld procedure specification qualification as per various international standards (ASTM, ASME, API, AWS and BS). The tests include tensile test, Impact test, Nick-Break test, Bend Test, Flattening Test, Shear Test, Macro & Micro examination, etc.• Carry out the Chemical Analysis with ARL-Spectrometer, Carbon-Sulphur Analyser and Oxygen & Nitrogen Analyser.• Involvement in site/field testing.• Supporting failure analyst in failure investigations of metallic (ferrous and Non-ferrous)components.• Coordinating with the team to carry out work as per the planning schedule, actively participate in A2LA/UKAS/NABL/ISO17025Audit.
