I have been responsible for implementation of ICT infrastructure in the eight Northeast states of India. In addition I was the advisor on cyber security and Electronic Warfare to the Army Commander of Eastern Command. At the level of middle management I was involved in hands on implementation of an indigenous Campus Wide Network in the College of Defence Management as the Head of Department, IT Infrastructure and Services. I was the Commanding Officer of an Electronic Warfare Unit in Jammu for close to 4 years where I managed close to 400 men and resources. At the junior level I designed and implemented a Decision Support System in C++ for Counter Insurgency Operations in 1994. I was also involved in introducing computer wargaming to the Indian Army as a major in the wargames section in 1996. As the Deputy Commandant Military College of Telecommunication Engineering I planned and implemented under graduate and graduate degree programs in Computer Science and Cyber Warfare.As the Deputy Military Secretary I was responsible for Strategic HR of the Corps. I conceived and implemented a strategy to reduce the deficiency in the cadre from 29% to 15% over 3 years. My present role is to coordinate development of counter drone systems and related technologies which involves multi disciplinary skills of Digital Signal Processing, Spread Spectrum Systems, Antenna Design and Quality Assurance. I provide the interface between user aspirations and on ground technological capabilities to deliver a cost effective product to a varied clientele ranging from Indian Defence Forces, Police, CISF and security forces of Central Asian Republics.
