Group Manager
Current• Spearhead key initiatives related to ISOL group and be involved in formulation and detailing of the initiative and define clear goals and KPIs for each of the initiative• Define overall Software projects team goals for all team members on projects and ensure target achievement• Support the ' ISOL Department' in Norway with multi skilled resources for various projects/ activities. Participate in further development and implementation of the development strategy for KM India Office.• Maintain proactive relations with the ISOL department to capture new business / avenues for offshoring and ensure maximum resource utilization.• Manage overall work/project requirements and resources allocated on projects• Participate in delivery of projects and monitor closure and timeline adherence• Responsible for induction of new engineers in the department and guiding them on new projects by providing adequate technical training• Ensure optimal productivity in terms of quantity and quality. High focus on Quality & improving quality processes.• Administrative responsibility of engineers of the in the Team and overall responsibility to develop team’s knowledge and skills to meet production demand and challenges.• Responsible for implementing the company culture into the department; responsible to ensure and complete full team integration.• Responsible for the timely delivery & quality of the projects/ modules assigned to Mumbai office according to Kongsberg Maritime routine, procedures and standards.• Identify training needs and impart training to the engineers• Ensure project management of work packages are executed within stipulated time period.• Monitoring of administration activities for department such as travel planning, team building activities etc.• Manage performance and people-related issues through effective practices/ processes to foster and develop a strong team
