Conducting Certification, Recertification and Surveillance audits and reporting and follow up action for completing the Audit CycleTrain Internal Quality Auditors, in batches, as per Branch schedule.Performing Technical review of audit documents as per Competency team schedulePerforming Initial Qualification Interview/review for new auditors as well as Technicalcompetency review/interview of auditors applied for for scope expansion.Conducting Internal Audit [Branch level], as requested by Branch Manager.

• Lead & co-ordinate Quality Control team involved in incoming, in-process and final inspection of Lead Acid Battery manufacturing as well as ISO 9001, 14001, OSHAS 18001 operations. • Lead CFT in preparing Specification for raw materials/Packing material, semi-finished/finished products, processes and reference samples as well as conduct DFMEA/PFMEA and prepare control plan, preventive actions and fool-proofing.• Prepare standard operating procedure and standard testing procedure for raw materials/Packing material, semi-finished/finished Product.• Ensure all the process stages have clearly defined specifications with careful & on-line quality control measures, in compliance to the applicable standards. Employ the use of various ultra modern facilities & apt instruments.• Lead Electrical Test Lab, engaged in Battery Testing/Validation/Development including Performance Test, Safety Test, Endurance Test, Life Cycle Test & other CSR tests.• Co-ordinate with CFT in conducting DFMEA as well as PFMEA and preparing control plan, preventive actions and fool-proofing.• Provide Quality Approval of new suppliers for Raw/ Packaging Materials supply through supplier evaluation, Re-evaluation and rating method• Analyze In-process consistency & variation and perform root-cause analysis for off-centering & variation, bring the process back to central zone.• Analyze product failure/customer returns/warranty failure and perform root-cause analysis of defects through developing & improving the process by taking corrective actions to prevent any reoccurrences and modify FMEA, Control plan, SOP & Work Instructions.• Ensure record Maintenance, housekeeping and on job training to all new recruits. Review daily coordination activities related with Quality

RESPONSIBILITIES:• Design, Develop, implement & maintain quality management systems in all processes identified for the business operation.• Plan & execute, conduct awareness and training program about the SOPs, Business controls & WIs to all stakeholders• Plan & execute periodic process audit, IQAs to review the effectiveness and efficiency of QMS and report to Top Management through MIS.• Train & develop Internal Quality Audit team.• Coordinate and arrange Management Review Meeting to review & decide on MRM Inputs and work with all business units to implement MRM out puts as well as measure its effectiveness & efficiency• Review all Non-conformances, conduct verification & analysis meeting with business unit heads to initiate RCA, ICA, CA through 8D analysis.• Coordinate & interact with Certification Body related to external audit for re-certification.• Coordinate & control customer audit programs on business units• Periodic review of Supplier performance & update Approved supplier List.• Plan Yearly Training Program based on training request from Business Units and coordinate with internal & external faculties in conducting the sessions.• Monitor & Analyse effectiveness of Training Program.• Identify Key Customer Accounts needs, Design, Develop, train & Implement Procedures as per their business system.• Co-ordinate with Business units conducting FMEA and preparing business control, preventive actions and fool-proofing

• Managing the QA team, training them for the professional and work developments.• Lead & co-ordinate Q.A. team involved in incoming/ in-process materials and final inspection/ testing of Lead Acid Tubular Batteries as well as ISO 9001/14001, OSHAS 18001 & TS 16949 operations. Head the Calibration Team. • Co-ordinate with CFT in Preparing Specification for Raw Materials/Packing Material, semi-finished/Finished Product and Reference samples. Prepare standard operating procedure and standard testing procedure for Raw Materials/Packing Material, semi-finished/Finished Product.• Ensure all the process stages have clearly defined specifications with careful & on-line quality control measures, in compliance to the applicable standards.
