Projects• Live Streaming Interface similar to Facebook Live and YouTube Live.• Moderators panel application for questions, chat moderation during live• Polling Application• Calendar Guide applicationAchievements• Several features in Cisco TV were cutting edge. Cisco was doing internal streaming in early 2000 way before YouTube any internet streaming.• Pioneered Social stream with chat, likes etc. while watching streaming. These were predecessors to Facebook and other live meetings popular today. Later introduced Polling during live streaming• Architected and developed Panelists (moderator function) that scored high UX points using dynamic asynchronous agents implemented in chat protocol BOSH (Bi directional streaming over HTTP) a long polling Ajax function.• Launched Mobile application right after iPhone popularity. Client : Rich Media Services (RMS) IT Team in Cisco.• Architected, built, deployed and supported tools and solutions for VOD publishing using HTML, Embedded Streaming Media SDK, JavaScript and J2EE middleware on Oracle 8i back end.• Designed and implemented Next Generation streaming solutions and User Interface using advanced JavaScript and AJAX framework.• Enabled deployment of Enterprise Audio Video conference room-control systems built on ASP .Net from Crestron across Cisco sales offices in US and Canada. This included vendor management, liaison, and architecture and system integration.

Client 1: HR - IT Team in Cisco.• Engineered and delivered key solutions for Education Management System (EMS) a key part of Cisco’s E-learning Architecture. EMS is a product from Saba built using J2EE on Oracle 8i.• Analyzed and implemented modules that helped migration and integration of several legacy learning tools and solutions in Cisco into EMS. This would then pave the way for the consolidated Cisco University.Client 2: Ad Reporting Team in AdForce Inc.• Engineered and delivered Internationalization/Globalization solutions for Reporting tools in Adforce. This included changing and rewriting modules of reporting software written in Java using Applet-Servlet communication interfacing with Actuate Report Server.

Client 1: Remittance processing IT Team in Plexus Inc., CA• Developed, tested and implemented Server Framework, Rule Engine and background modules in Java, for remittance processing system that works on Plexus’s Floware back bone and processes check, stubs etc from remitting clients.Client 2: Indus Consultancy Services, NJ • Designed, developed and supported an enterprise reporting product called PAC (Platform Adapter Component) for Crystal reports. PAC interfaced Java objects to Crystal Report Engine, through the PAC Report Server and facilitated execution of reports. • Advised clients as SME, Owner and implementer of PAC, Architected integration points for various other IT services products from Indus with PAC. Implemented PAC integrations in IT solutions for various Indus clients like DOL (Department of Labor) NJ.

Home banking as it was called then allowed users to view bonds, stocks, and account balance on the Internet from home or office. • Designed and developed ActiveX DLLs to link ASP Pages on IIS to VB exe that connected to a mainframe host {IBM DPS 9000 BULL machine}.• Developed interfaces for downloading statements into Microsoft Money 98’.• These tools helped Banca Sella gain many new customers given the flexibility and ease of banking and early adoption of online banking helped Banca Sella gain market share over key competitors.• Designed and developed ASP pages for maintaining employee profile. System authenticates user access and roles again NT User accounts registry and a Microsoft Access database. Users in NT but not in Access are added in the first time.• These intranet pages helped improve productivity and also maintain employee data up to date.

Software House was a startup focused on building widgets and tools for software product vendors in US.• Designed developed and implemented several ActiveX tools or widgets adding up to a pack of ActiveX controls.• Controls included a dial, which had the appearance of a tuner so that users could set levels like a slider control. Another was a fancy radio control that replaced the traditional radio button, giving the feel of plugging chords to radio select. • Produced and tested widgets in short time and met release deadlines. This improved customer base and satisfaction for Software House.
