I have decided to go back to the Basic Education since the teaching loads of USC is limited. - I was able to teach Physics to the Pharmacy and Nursing students wherein the lessons and laboratory activities were centered to the applications in their fields.- I was teaching Physics lecture and laboratory classes.

While I was studying full time for my masters, there was an urgent need of a Chemistry teacher in USC so my professor told me to apply and I got accepted. I was teaching Chemistry in Nursing, Pharmacy and Engineering classes both laboratory and lecture classes. The lessons were chosen to be related to the courses of the students.

During the start of my masters, Bethany Christian School requested me to come back to their school to teach part time Chemistry and Physics. I grabbed the opportunity because I have some vacant time after my masters classes and I really want to continue teaching students. Luckily, I was able to manage my time and I excel with my masters as well. I decided to transfer to USC-NC from Bethany because it offers more opportunity for me to be able to pursue further studies in USC. Here in USC, I was able to handle an all boys class both in the 3rd year and 4th year. I started to initiate investigatory projects in my classes in order to enhance their inquiry and research skills.Then an opportunity came for a Graduate Scholarship of DOST-Accelerated Program. My first teaching experience in Bethany taught me how to be a very responsible and a good classroom manager. Here I was able to be exposed to Chinese-Filipino students who were very eager to learn. And I did my best to transmit the appropriate knowledge to them. I trained students for quizbowls and outside competitions. I also organized a science exhibit during the science month.
