On Board Supervisor
CurrentTransdev operates Auckland's passenger Train Network. Progressed in my Carrier within Organization from Passenger Operator / Train Manager / Tutor Train Manager and currently working as an On-Board Supervisor, Work closely with on-board staff to ensure smooth running of passenger Trains and manage following:1)Responsible for a medium size Team (Refresh knowledge of team to required Rail safety standards and keep their certification current).2) Work as Rail Incident Controller (RIC) when required during minor to major incident on Auckland's rail network. Collect evidence / Incident Site management liaise with emergency services (Police / Fire Brigade and Ambulance) to make Rail corridor safe for them and to speedy recovery of the Rail network post incident. 3) Work on verity of shifts and roles like Manage Book on Facility / Access fitness for duty for staff / Allocate shifts during roll forward / handle staff issues and other Logical functions managing Book-on facility during peak hours.4) Cover Shift / Train Service during staff shortage or disruption.5) Implementation of Current and new Standards and procedures within and outside my team when required.6) Process and Approve Time Sheets of about 135 staff after Validation between time booked and actual work given following set procedure.7) Platform Management during Disruption (Allocate different than normal jobs to staff as required) to recover to the scheduled timetable when required.
