UK-qualified solicitor - not licensed to practice law in CaliforniaThe areas in which I spent most of my time were:- drafting, reviewing and negotiating strategic global agreements with resellers and distributors, systems integrators, carriers, in-bound licensors, and technology collaboration partners. The agreements typically involve complex issues around SaaS, product integration, data protection, joint marketing, go-to-market, revenue recognition and more;- helping the Channel and Business Development teams scale for operational and business efficiency through improving templates, drafting program guides and guidelines, and generally acting as a sounding board on business issues; and- international expansion, including leading efforts to establish overseas operations and then working with a cross-functional team to get those operations rolled out and scaled for success in areas like real estate, tax, HR, localization of agreements, etc.
