Working as Associate Director of Data & Analytics, working with senior business leadership to identify and solve business problems and use cases with the use of data and analytics. With a team of data analysts, product managers, data engineers and data scientists, I work on creating and refining the data strategy for specific business areas as well as use the combined expertise of the team to partner with business leaders on targeting key business areas with special focus on supply chain, such as Integrated Business Planning (IBP), Supply Chain Control Tower, Production Scheduling & Optimization, supply chain optimization etc.

This includes : a) Defining the Information Architecture b) Making key data engineering decisions such as defining the ETL/ELT mechanisms like ingestion mechanisms (batch/streaming, refresh mechanism), transformations required to create data products and defining the consumption mechanisms (Self Service Analytics Tools, APIs, SQL queries)- Leading scrum masters and development team for ensuring delivery- Mentoring team members to ensure they grow within the organization as well as in terms of knowledge.

Managed 5 product lines:- Data & Analytics Platform - SaaS platform for self-service analytics (data collection, cleaning, analysis, and visualization ) as well as the home for all of Eka's applications.- Procurement - Focusing on problem areas in procurement for manufacturing and CPG companies - Risk - Includes products related to financial risks such as market risk (Value at Risk), Option Valuation, and simulation (simulating market scenarios and price movements).- Mobile - Managing Eka's iOS and Android apps - Connect - Eka Connect suite of products allow different players in commodity markets such as farmers and suppliers to traders and customers come together on a single platform and exchange information. This was done through a combination of web based portals and mobile UI.
