Role: Sales OfficerAs a Sales Officer it would be your job to sell your company’s products orservices. You would be responsible for finding and winning new customers, as well aslooking after existing customer accounts. You could specialize in one area of consumergoods, such as Beverages & FMCG foods. Depending on your market, your customersmight be wholesalers, shops, businesses, manufacturers or individuals within your specificgeographical area.• SO’s primary responsibility is to collect order from the distributors and to verify thedistributor claims.• Keeping in contact with existing customers in person and by phone• Making appointments with and meeting new customers• Agreeing sales, prices, contracts and payments• Meeting sales targets• Promoting new products and any special deals• Advising customers about delivery schedules• Recording orders and sending details to the sales officers• Giving feedback on sales trends
