Reporting to the Chief/Senior Architect, we are responsible for providing company wide strategic architectural roadmap to the engineering teams, covering all products and technologies. Each architect has one or more ownership areas and participates in the overall process. I am responsible for Trellix EDR and Unified EDR (UEDR) solutions. For UEDR, I share the responsibility with few other peers. Few notable projects I drove were:- Reviewing McAfee and Fireeye detection and protection solutions, their architecture, adopt and aligning their parts and augment them with new features, all for Unified EDR solution.- Trellix Unified Event Schema. It's quite complicated given that we have to unify event schemas across technologies coming from 2 different companies. - Detection and Correlation engine technologies, both In-Cloud Vs On-Endpoint. - Everything to facilitate participation of Trellix EDR for MITRE 2023 and MITRE 2024 evaluations, reviewing and interpreting results, gap analysis and planning for next year's evaluations.

Worked on McAfee Arbitrary Access Control (AAC) for Linux and architected and wrote the new Process Tracing module for McAfee EDR.

LiveUpdate is a secure content delivery infrastructure for delivering product and security updates on multiple platforms on 300+ million endpoints. - Design and development of Liveupdate - Preconditions Lib which provides for language and content for PreInstall checks - DAT management component MicroDefs - Implemented new binary patching algorithm for updating DATs - Reducing size of DAT patches.Technologies used: C/C++/VC++/MFC/COM/Python/Java for Windows and Linux
