I handle IPR/Trademark issues/litigation etc of the company and its various subsidiaries.Possesses the skill set and know how to manage legal teams at corporate offices as well as business units in resolving the issues/dispute by providing them with required and timely legal advice with latest research data etc. I devise processes and guidelines for keeping track of the litigation and their status upto the Board of Directors/corporate level to ensure better control and monitoring of cases/investigations. Actively contribute to the resolution of dispute before courts/ arbitration by ensuring that the matter at hand is rectified in a timely and cost effective manner.I stay abreast of developments in law and the company’s business and take, recommend appropriate action to advance and protect the Company’s interest. I ensure periodic tracking of Laws/ Regulations/Statues applicable and their impact on the business and subsequently disseminating relevant information to business team and Management to enhance levels of efficiency and compliance. I have an in-depth understanding of commercial contracting terms, conditions/practices and legal implications with extensive knowledge of laws & regulations governing contracts and possess a strong ability to draft, analyse, interpret and negotiate complex contract terms and conditions. Also showcase the ability to integrate commercial/business needs with contractual obligations and to provide support to Management in the negotiation of complex contracts by providing inputs to the development of strategy and tactics and by providing legal counsel throughout the contractual process.
