Leading a 25+ globally distributed engineering team comprising experienced DevOps engineers, engineering managers and architects to build and operate shared infrastructure platforms that power product experiences across Yahoo!Establish OKRs for Production Engineering Operations.Maintain KPIs (SLI/SLO) for Yahoo! Homepage, News, Sports,Finance and Backend Tech Stack.Design and implement cloud migration strategy from on-prem Kubernetes to EKS & GKE in cloud.provision and configure cloud resources programmatically to enables consistent, repeatable deployments and version control of infrastructure configurations.Participate in oncall activities along with software dev teams to reduce downtime. Conduct internal incident postmortem for RCA and time bound remediation tasks to improve uptime.Build and maintain tools for resilience testing of new and existing product via load testing, right sizing and fault tolerance.Key Results :Designed and implemented cloud-agnostic Infrastructure as Code (IaC) orchestration using Ansible and Terraform for AWS, GCP, and Docker. This enabled fully dynamic infrastructure provisioning and scaling for Yahoo Finance, Sports, and News, establishing a best practice that serves as the template for migrating all 300+ Yahoo Media products to the cloud by the end of 2026.Observability Vendor Evaluation : Partnered with Central Platform to define observability requirements for Yahoo infrastructure and applications. Led the adoption of OTEL and K8s OTEL collector infrastructure, enabling centralized monitoring contractor signing with an external vendor. (Chronosphere & GCP observability)
