I am Manish Agrawal, CEO of Techment Technology. My first lesson on enterprise and business was learnt at home. Working together as a unit, our large intergenerational family, made me realize the value of close-knit ties and respect for one's roots, which explains my decisions, like starting my first business, ‘Picsquare,’ shortly after my Master's degree. After a successful exit, I moved on to shouldering my family business responsibilities and now building a cutting-edge technology firm in a small Indian town.My key skill sets were entrepreneurial lessons from childhood, my passion for technology learnt at IIT Bombay & Purdue, and leadership skills learnt through a series of successful businesses. Since 2014 I have been the Co-founder and CEO of Techment Technology, and since 2021 the Global CEO of Techment.Techment is an Information Technology (IT) venture based in central India with a vision to provide opportunities to engineering graduates from tier-2 towns and enable them to build a career while they stay close to their families without migrating to big cities. Techment works with start-ups and small/mid-size businesses based in the US and India as their technology partner.As the CEO of Techment USA, my mandate is to lead initiatives for expanding business in the US, setting up the senior team and succession planning to run the US operations, build sales and marketing teams to achieve the organization’s growth objectives. As a global CEO, I am responsible for the overall functioning and health of the company.From 2010-2014 I was the Director – Marketing and Finance at Pilania IndustriesI played a pivotal role in the set-up and starting of the rolling mill operations with a capacity of 100,000 MT. My First Venture Picsquare started in 2005 as an online portal for NRIs to send photo prints to their friends and families in India. Picsquare was the first startup inducted into ‘ The Indus Entrepreneur (TiE)’ Bangalore Entrepreneurship Accelerator Program (EAP) under the leadership of Dr. Sridhar Mitta. We had a successful exit in 2010 with superb results for investors when we merged with Infibeam - now a publicly listed company.
