Worked as Lead, Infrastructure, Network and Security (INS) at Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia UN-ESCWA. As Infrastructure Network and Security (INS) lead, I was responsible for managing IT infrastructure , Data Center, Network and Security Operations . Also contributed to formulating IT policies for United Nation secretariat and OAH and member of Architecture Review Board.

Worked as IT Specialist/ Advisor in Second Customs Reform and Trade Facilitation project funded by World Bank. Worked for IT automation of Afghan Custom Department (ACD) and facilitate the automation of various custom processes under Automated SYstem for CUstoms DAta ( ASYCUDA). Worked in the domains of Project / Program Management , IT Automation and policy framework design, IT Procurement , Infrastructure and application deployment, Capacity and Skill development and aligning ACD IT organisation to ITIL standards.

Worked as PMO for CSC India Operations for office of President& MD, CSC India. The key role was to monitor CSC India operations for all vertical and business units and cater to any organisation wide initiatives and undertake special projects. My job responsibilities included conducting monthly operations review of all business units which involved the all key stakeholders of organisation ( CFO, HR, Legal, Business Unit Heads and CTO), Managing Corporate function, building business strategy,Policy reviews and oversight any organisation wide and business improvement initiatives.Apart from PMO role , I have undertaken Applabs acquisition project as project manager for merging Applabs with CSC Testing vertical across all 4 regions (US, Europe, UK and India) and aligned the HR, Marketing, Finance, Sales and Resourcing and business sub-verticals/Units (clients).In addition, I had also undertaken Employee Engagement survey project for 20K employees of CSC India.

Set-up the communication and IT infrastructure for UNMIS ( former UNAMIS ) Including DARFUR region .To ensure optimal and proper functioning of UNMIS Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN) and all related infrastructure (central servers, software, etc.) and WAN connections including HQ at UNMIS , Project Centers and Liaison Offices. Conduct system studies, makes detailed system proposals and tests plans for networking and provide reommendations to management on future networking and telecommunications strategies. Managed and monitor network performance, accounting and security & implement the wireless network (Cisco Aironet) for the entire mission. Define and disseminate operating standards and procedures. Advise on procurement issues and international purchase of IT/telecom and on optimal use and architecture of the LAN and WAN.

I was hired by NCR to execute their one of their turn key Project for WAN Implementation for a Nationalised Bank in India . The project involved set-up of their Data Centre at New Delhi and 26 Key Distribution sites across India which inturn was connected to 300 sites / Branches . The project also included set-up of Network Monitoring Tool for SLA reporting .• Total Price : 130 Million INR • Duration : 15 months • Number of resources Handled : 25 ( Third Party)• Number of locations : 300• Router Count : 350 ( excluding LAN Infrastructure)Key Responsibilities• Responsible for managing a team of 15-20 Engineers across the Country , involved In the Project for getting the Links commissioned, Configuration and Installation of Networking Equipments.• Vendor Management for Link commissioning and Liaison with senior management of BSNL/MTNL. • Handled both internal and external technical escalations and provided inputs to NCR project team on enhancement and optimization of network. • Provided timely project updates to project team. Participated in project review meetings. Imparted Customer training on operations of network.
