Analytical: Strong data handling and analytical skills, very adept in the use of supply chain IT Systems & tools. Ability to identify patterns, risk and opportunity. Management: A strong Team leader, mentor and coach. Nurturing development to ensure the teams acts as "one team" to execute strategy with a mind set of making things happen. Broad knowledge of financial management and client expectations to provide financial advice and support to directors, managers & work colleagues to enable them to make sound business decisions. Credit Control: Debt management via a system of control to ensure issuance of credit to customers is monitored with sections that include credit approval, credit limits, dispatch as well as collection processes. Cash Flow: To generate a positive cash flow and maximise long term cash flow and reduce arrears. Auditing: Facilitate with quality inspections from Invoice Factoring & Banks to HMRC during VAT & PAYE inspections. Foreign Exchange: Expedite and manage foreign exchange requirements as the company trades globally with European countries, USA, Far East and Middle East. Pension Governance: Liaising between staff and Pension Administrators to address any queries and also to ensure that the Pension scheme adheres to current legislation. HR: Interviewing techniques, analysing applications and assisting in hiring staff in various departments. Fostering a culture of continuous improvements and motivating staff to be open approachable and invest in a team spirit.
