My professional life journey spans an enriching cross functional career of 30 years across Corporates, Academics, Consulting and Start-up ecosystems in leadership roles, usually to start or execute strategic goals. Apart from enjoying making a positive difference in people's lives (guess that's where HR comes in:-), I love music, humour and creative writing.An avid learner, I've been a Mentor, Advisor, Events Anchor, Panelist @ Corporate, Institutional and Academia, including B-Plan contests & admissions, and a Speaker at Industry-Academia Gap events.I've enjoyed contributing to institution-building & delivering on strategic growth initiatives, leading teams, business development, sales & marketing, CXO level networking/PR/liaison, HR & Corporate Communications like drafting Funding proposals, presentations & website content. Led AMITY Global Bus. School Ahmd, part of Amity University Group (2010 -13, MBA+BBA) as Dean-Director (got PROMOTED). Literally turned it around, strengthened its Gujarat brand presence during my tenure. As Founding Exec. Director of THE INDUS ENTREPRENEURS (TiE Ahmd. Chapter 2004-07) a global Silicon Valley based NGO to foster entrepreneurship, managed funding, memberships, brought TIECON event to Ahmedabad, nurtured a global CXO/owners' network, worked with GUJARAT VENTURE FINANCE Ltd. & Creative Infocity. Supported TiE : sponsored its Office Secretariat @Amity, free of cost for 2 years. As GM-HR at QodeNext (formerly 'Intellicon'~ITES), managed end-to-end HR across 10 branches pan India [400+ staff], got ISO certified. As EA to CEO (1994-05), handled HR for E Tech Inc (Creative Infocity IT Park). Led OD interventions and HR for most of the companies I have worked with, including a paper manufacturing company for 9 years.As L & D facilitator, have designed & conducted Leadership, Marketing and Career Planning workshops for corporate professionals, engineering & management students. Am well networked across Corporates, Trade bodies, CXOs, HR fraternity and Academic circles.
