As the supply chain and procurement leader, I lead the team that drives corporate procurement and supply chain activity from acquiring raw materials through supporting manufacturing finished products (including supplier negotiation, material management, inventory storage, logistics, and vendor management).

As Director of Supply Chain and Manufacturing, I directed a high-performing team of over 25 professionals, orchestrating seamless global operations from raw material acquisition to manufacturing excellence. This encompassed critical functions such as New Product Introduction (NPI), material management, logistics optimization, product lifecycle management, vendor oversight, quality assurance, testing, and strategic manufacturing engineering. Moreover, I assumed ownership of the Tempo Automation manufacturing site, ensuring its operational efficiency and success. I reported directly to the VP of Finance, driving strategic alignment and operational excellence at every turn.

We provided leadership to multiple startup companies in their operations and development of manufacturing and outsourcing strategy. - I was accountable and led IT, procurement, material management, and strategic vendor engagement.- I delivered key engagements with IP Video Systems Inc. (Acquired by Barco), Intruguard Devices Inc. (Acquired by Fortinet), and Qualcore Logic Inc. - I built and led a team of six from the ground up. Implemented the center of excellence (COE) and led a team of engineers, business analysts, and operations professionals. - I consulted industry projects across multiple disciplines, from product conceptions, the first prototype, to mass-market introduction. Developed product/market/strategy transition plans, and set up the supply chain for key clients. Our clients achieved a 12-18 month “head start” through the incubation program by connecting them to established relationships with vendors, contract manufacturers, banks, and investors.

- I negotiated vendor relationships with suppliers and contract manufacturers to build a next-generation network switch and reduce product TCO by over 65%.- I worked directly with engineering teams to design products for DFX. Managed product regulatory and environment compliance (EMC, FCC, NEBS, ROHS, and UL). - I identified, negotiated and implemented third party tools for SolidWorks, Arena Solutions PLM, Agile PLM, Great Plains Accounting and Cadence tools. - I managed the Video-to-Optics project from conception to execution. - I negotiated external engineering services cost savings $750K (70%) for a prototype.
