I had been given the designation of a Site Engineer In charge of an undergroundPowerhouse, Tailrace, Switchyard, Penstock & surrounding works.Following were my key responsibilities:1. Planning and executing construction work as per the issued drawing and completing it in time.2. Supervision and daily inspection of work done by the subcontractor includingReinforcement, Formworks, and concreting.3. Forecasting the requirements of manpower, material, and machinery and arranging them intime.4. Quantification of all types of work in a hydropower project.5. Regulating the Civil Works in conjunction with Hydro-Mechanical and Electro-Mechanical Works6. Coordinating with the consultant about all types of civil works and consulting regarding therequired amendments in drawings.7. Preparation of daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports of construction.8. Overseeing Quality Control along with Health and Safety Matters on site.
