I am a Managing Director & Partner at Boston Consulting Group (BCG) and part of the leadership team of our Consumer Practice in India. I focus on serving clients spanning diverse consumer facing sub-sectors. I have ~20 years of experience in driving business growth and operational excellence across the consumer industry, including FMCG, alcoholic beverages, beauty & personal care, consumer health & nutraceuticals, fashion & lifestyle, home improvement categories. In my role, I have had the privilege of supporting CEOs & CXOs of large MNCs, Indian promoter organizations and new D2C players disrupting the industry. I have found that while the objective function for all my clients is similar (i.e. profitable growth & value creation), the path to achieving the same and internal change management needs to be bespoke & rooted in the context of each organization.Prior to BCG, I worked with Accenture Management Consulting (now called Accenture Strategy) for close to 10 years focusing on consumer clients with a deep involvement in on-ground execution of their strategic agenda. I learned deeply that execution excellence differentiates the winners from the rest.I am a believer that pure talent is not enough and a learning attitude & resilience are necessary to win in the long run. I apply this in my leadership style, in coaching my teams as well in my problem solving approach for my clients.Outside of my professional pursuits, I am passionate about travel and learning by observing.
