Bright Futures is the largest network of careers and skills societies in the UK, operating in over 50 universities. Each society is student run (by a student committee) allowing members to take initiative and manage the day-to-day life of the society to best suit the needs and aspirations of its members.As a marketing and Public Relations Coordinator, I realised that a Facebook page was not sufficient enough to show case events, coordinate, market and update events to the members. The website also acts as a good way for marketing and PR for certain events as well. As a committee member of Bright Futures Manchester, myself and the team organised events with Lloyds Bank, HSBC, Absolute Internship, Centrica and Costain with an average attendance of 30-40 students per event. Joining BEC Tero for the second time, now as an online marketing intern, I was responsible for engaging and interacting with BEC Tero Sansana’s fan base via social media and networking (BEC Tero’s team competing in the Thai Premier League). I initialised the #WeAreTero and #MyTeroIdol campaign which involved user-generated content in which fans were encouraged to upload their pics during a game they watched or them wearing the team’s jersey. This sparked a lot of conversation online and we managed to gain a larger fan base as a result from this campaign. I further had the opportunity to conduct interviews with some of the players which was used as promotion material to spark online conversation and hype.In order to improve the fanbase of this football club, I translated the entire website from Thai to English in order to target an international audience and added relevant tags to the website for SEO purposes. I further went on to translate all the blog posts regarding the football club and news into english so an international audience can be reached. Furthermore, I was responsible to add captions and subtitles to BEC Tero’s news and entertainment channels (Om Yim อมยิ้ม and Morning news เรื่องเล่าเช้านี้) This was conducted after finding that we had an international audience base after analysing the youtube and google analytics tool.

During the actual event, I was in charge of ushering people and checking entrance tickets and was also responsible for photographing the DJs and the event.

At TNS Global I got to observe and listen to a focus group which is a form of marketing research aimed to understand consumer behaviour and customer's perception on a supermarket's corporate social responsibility (CSR). The supermarkets involved Tesco and their competitor supermarkets like Carrefour and Big C (Thailand Supermarkets).I was responsible for writing summary reports based on the focus groups after critically analysing the discussions that was taking place.
