• Work to a project schedule and budget, ensuring quality, accuracy and efficiency of the work being performed. • Supervising & executing mechanical works at the project site. • Responsible for repairing and maintaining hydraulic systems by referring to technical guidelines and manuals. • Contribute to the development of systems and improvement in working practices and processes. • Estimating, proposals for processes related to materials, equipment, production, and labour including unit rates. • Reviewing Mechanical scope of works and understanding of mechanical systems fundamentals and their applications to the design process.• Inspects incoming supplies to verify conformance with material specifications and quality standards. • Work directly from blueprints, patterns, sketches, and specifications. • Calibrate and adjust equipment to ensure quality production using tools such as dial indicators, calipers, micrometers, torque wrenches, pins, and height gauges. • Knowledge of Geometric Dimensions and Tolerancing (GD&T)• CNC programming/ manual setup and troubleshooting minor program errors. • Project planning, programs, schedules, and deliverables.• Root cause analysis (RCA) on broken bearings after machining.• Installation and commissioning of VSD tray turner conveyors and an Incline conveyor.• Cut and shut of over-head return conveyor • Work with senior developers to manage large, complex design projects for corporate clients.
