Mr. Kalha is a Managing Director at Teton Advisors Inc. (OTC Pink: TETAA), a multi-strategy Mutual Fund manager uncovering opportunities within inefficient markets, and who are pioneers in micro, small and mid-cap value investing and currently manage eight mutual funds along with SMA’s. Mr. Kalha's responsibilities include Portfolio Management, new Business development, analytics, ESG and sustainability implementation, risk management and compliance. Mr. Kalha is also the Managing Partner of Horizon Research, New Delhi, which invests in the Private and Public Equity Markets globally. Horizon Research is a subsidiary of Teton Advisors. He has participated in the creation, formation and operational functioning of SPAC’s (Special Purpose Acquisition Companies: listed investment vehicles that look to merge or acquire private companies) in both Italy (VALU:IM) and US (DFNSU:NYSE) and (PMVC:NYSE). For the SPAC's his primary area of focus was deal analysis and merger structuring. He was previously involved in manufacturing sector private equity and distressed debt resolution and began his career In Arthur Andersen’s New Delhi office. Mr. Kalha serves on the board of the publicly listed LGL Group (NYSE Amex: LGL), GEO SUD (Lecce, Italy) and Gabelli Securities (London, UK). Mr. Kalha holds an MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (M.I.T.) Sloan School of Management, a B.A. Honors in Economics from SRCC (University of Delhi), and is a Chartered Accountant and a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
