Web Developer Graphic Designer
CurrentAt the City of London I work in the development team as the lead designer and also look after bespoke applications and websites. I spend most of my time with UX design, wireframes, graphics, css, html and JQuery. At the moment I am working on a number of different projects, two of which I have outlined below.IT Rollout Programme : Over the last 9 months I have been responsible for creating a brand for the City of London IT Rollout Programme. This is a corporate wide project transitioning all users over to new devices, Office 365 and Sharepoint.I have been tasked to design, layout and brand all communication material, turning Office documents, sketches, scribbles and initial thought diagrams into high quality assets such as user journeys, step by step user guides, emails, webpages, project updates, postcard, posters and much more.Working with suppliers, business partners and technical teams under strict timelines has been an awarding challenge. Each piece of output for this project has been very well received and I have really been able to thrive at this type of work by really putting my design and analytical skills into practice. Its so satisfying to see an end user smile and use something which I have produced.Firmstep Achieve Forms Project :The other major piece of work I am engaged with is the building of online forms, allowing the consumption of council services such as paying your council tax or applying for a parking permit. I personally have also been involved with branding, customising and fine tuning the Firmstep platform to enable the best user experience possible.Over the years my responsibility has grown as has my experience and skillset, working with different types of projects and clients. I have tried to keep up with moving technologies and focussed on delivering quality work throughout. In March this year I have achieved 'ITIL Foundation certified in IT Service Management'.
