As a welcome desk team member my job is to greet students, staff, and visitors to provide any information that they need. I deal with current students and those new to college and assist them in finding out about the services provided and solving the problems that they may face when starting at George Brown College. My role requires me to be friendly, proactive, communicative, team-worker and provide excellent customer service.

In this role I used to teach elementary and middle school students where I helped them in understanding concepts that they may find difficult. I assisted students in preparing for their exams and get their desired results. The subjects I taught included - Science, Math, History, Geography, Social Science and languages (English, Hindi & Punjabi)
