• Prepare and process import/export documents and other forms on behalf of clients accordingto customs regulations, laws, and procedures.• Request and compile necessary import documentation such as commercial invoices, bills oflading, certificates of origin, and cargo control documents, and coordinate regulatorydocumentation activity.• Clear goods through customs and to their destination for clients, coordinate logistics, and otherbusiness operations.• Classify goods according to the tariff coding system to ensure compliance with regulations.• Sign import/export documents on behalf of clients, using power of attorney.• Arrange for payment of duties, taxes, storage, and transportation of imported goods and bondsto cover duty goods.• Quote duty and tax rates commodities for clients.• Calculate duties and tariff payments owed on shipments.• Pay or arrange for payment of taxes and duties on shipments.• Provide advice to clients on export and import restrictions, tariff systems, letters of credit,insurance requirements, and other customs-related matters.

• Woking conditions with NAV based ERP, TMS (Truck Management System) and Willson and/or Farrow (Broker System).• Coordinated movements of cross border and domestic inbound shipments and transfers (US/CAN, US/US & MX/US).• Act as a liaison between distribution facilities, Sales department, other members of the supply chain and carriers/brokers.• Negotiate rates with approved carriers/brokers, while securing excellent service for the best price.• Consolidate shipments to ensure load capacity is met.• Manage, track, and trace freight updates in the company TMS system.• Communicate promptly and professionally with truck drivers and internal team members.• Investigate and resolve shipment/delivery issues that may occur.• Ensure rate documentation is verified and processed in the appropriate systems.• Meet legal compliance requirements for all documentation and ensure it is completed according to company requirements in an accurate and timely manner.• Performed administrative tasks such as copying, filing, faxing, and scanning documents.
