I worked as a Researcher in the area and Environment overly related to thermal power planys and energy governance projects.

I was working as Project Associate, IITM in the project, “Changing Contours of State Welfarism and Emerging Citizenship: A Comparative Study of Kerala and Tamilnadu”. · I was working with Gender and labor part of the study. The study engaged in an extensive review of specific policies and programmes formulated by Indian state and specifically on Tamilnadu women’s employment and empowerment. The empirical part of the study in Chennai where we will analyse the specificities in the unfolding of state specific self-help programmes and its intersection, if any, with the increasing engagement of women in the petty production sector.

I worked as a Researcher in Social Watch-TN, a state level public policy research cum advocacy organization. My work focused on Education and child rights particularly concerning about budgets. My work included documenting information in the context of ESC rights and Budgets at state, national and international levels. Represented the organization at various national and state level consultations.

The nature of my work included identifying the social issues and interviewing eminent persons concerning the issues and documenting it as report. Also, on various topics, done research and wrote articles for organization’s purpose.
