 Responsible for building prototypes, a bridge between Design team and Suppliers, align with Sourcing, Logistic and Inspection team, for on-time delivery of new products. Maintain and improve current test stands and develop new test stands for hydraulic products. Support Validation of products for continuous improvement projects. Understand the product and application requirements and design a validation plan, methodologies for new products. Train and mentor test engineers in validation process, test stand design, and developments. Develop state-of-the-art test lab infrastructure and support business growth with the development of effective validation strategies. Prepare or Review validation test procedures for new products. Prepare design validation plan (DVP), consult with design team and customer, execute on-time for new products.  Establish testing specifications in the Project, Identify the needed setup and timeline. Outsourced testing needed for certification of products and related documentation. Involve in test rig development and testing cost estimation. Maintain Hydraulic oil cleanness level. Generate and document all technical reports for existing and new products. Troubleshooting of the problems faced during testing/trials related to Process and utilities. Prepare SOP of all test rigs and Basic hydraulic components. Maintain the test lab with regular 5S activities and inventory management of prototype components. Support production with assembly and testing during emergency/urgent scenarios. Ensure availability and functioning of measuring equipment, calibration, and maintenance. Coordinate with Maintenance team for Preventative maintenance and unexpected breakdown.  Manage test engineers, VMC Operators and technicians in accordance with work schedule.

➢ Involve in RFQ, Preparation of DVP based on DFMA and customer requirement.➢ Prepare test plan as per approved DVP that contained Test’s procedure, Acceptance criteria Testing timeline, Test legs, Product drawing, Number of samples required, Testing parameter tolerance and get it approved by project team and customer.➢ Schedule testing as per the test plan and attend weekly PDT meetings and updates.➢ Hold responsibility for in-house tests; Search qualified lab for some tests which cannot implement in-house and monitor the test progress and test quality at an external lab.➢ Communicate and cooperate test-related affairs with other departments, take a lead role on design, fabricating, and acceptance evaluation of testing fixtures.➢ Tag all samples after test and store as agreed with the customer.➢ Prepare the detailed test report and upload it to PLM. ➢ Benchmarking of competitor products.➢ Create TIR (Test Issue Report) for the failed test, and work with the project team to analyze the root causes, getting it released.➢ Ensure implementation of Testing Laboratory Quality Management System (Based on ISO and IATF:16949 - 2015) guidelines in all activities.➢ Monitor calibration and maintain the calibration history of all instruments.➢ Preparing and keeping continuously updated Work Instructions for Testing Machines/Equipment under self-responsibility. ➢ Preparing and keeping continuously updated Work Instructions for Testing Machines/Equipment under self-responsibility.
