-Understand the target market and develop a right product mix in line with the target customer for each store-Identifying the new trends/categories/products which can give value addition to the business- Assortment planning and option planning- Vendor management- Make sure that products have a right fit and construction- Planning for new brands, discontinuation of non performing one, margin negotiations and terms of trade-Competing cost/ prices & lead-time from various suppliers-Work on lead-time/ deliveries and following it up with vendor for order & price confirmation, also lucrative price negotiations with supplier-Preproduction and development sample approvals from quality department and communicating the same to vendors and regional QA-Production Tracking and dispatch monitoring

-Order Placement and final price negotiation with vendor and customer.-AT Initiate merchandise operations with international buyers & ensure the right merchandise reaches the right market at right time, return value to the client.-Size set, PP sample, sealing sample and entire testing sample follow up.-Yarn/ Fabric follow up with yarn dyeing factory and vendor. All the color and lot approval given locally myself and if needed shall spoke with fabric department-Pre production follows up and taking time and action plan from the vendor.-Production follow up daily basis and if needed talked with top management person right way so at the end of day there will be no problem for shipment-Assisting production merchandisers on critical path management-Weekly production review meeting with country manager and divisional manager quality head and fabric manger.-AT Monitoring and maintaining quality standards at every stage as per the buyer’s specifications.-AT Coordination with vendors for various job work orders of knitting, processing, printing, embroidery etc.- To provide buyer costing of product and for new developments.-Maintaining weekly order status reports.-To follow up with different vendors for confirmed orders and new developments as well along with costing.- Providing buyer with new developments every season keeping in view the Brand’s requirements and its interest.- Managing the team of 4members and taking the overall responsibility to run the factory with orders.-Ensuring all approvals/comments communicate with HQ technician.-Shipment hand over date updating with DCD/ commercial department daily basis.-Arranging CIF final inspection -Claim/ debit note settled VENDOR with customer-Working out T & A as per the garment deliveries required.-Overall responsibility from getting the orders till shipment of the goods on time

-Corresponding & coordinating with the Buyers with new developments in terms of fabrics, styles and accessories.Garment development follow ups season wise (Fall/Holl/Spring/ Summer)- Communicate with Buyer to get the tech pack.- On getting the tech pack work with internal team to get the consumption details and the Fabric and trim prices to do the costing.- On getting the order confirmation following samples start from fit sample.- Internal workings in sap to make the BOM and Sales orders.- Provide the detail to the procurement team to place the order for fabric and trims and continuous follow up to bring the material in-house.- Conducting PPM for each and every order and circulating the details to the internal departments to process the order.- Production follow ups.- Organizing for final inspection.- Following with commercial team for vessel booking.- Internal and external communication- Weekly order recap / fabric trims recap & co-ordination, meetingwith Production Team daily to review the Production.- Fabric inspection / shade / shrinkage finalization with technical team for every order within 3 days of fabric receipt.- Ensuring correct shades are issued to cutting as per the CCRand ensuring cutting is done as per CCR and no shortages- Killed garment control / drive on weekly basis plus excess shipment- Wash check for every bath with team for respective order- Chase & check trims chart / PI and confirm all ok for every order.- Track and analyze market trends, production costs, and sales numbers to determine future merchandise direction.- Responsible for tracking consumer trends and the latest style to get orders from the buyers.- Able to achieve sales targets, purchasing, planning, co-ordination of sales and promotional activates.- Arranging the storage of apparel.- Supervise the creation of visual displays and the overall appearance of the show room.- Responsible for tracking profits and losses..- Traveling if required.
