• Preparing annual list of customers to be audited during the year, at the beginning of the year. visiting customer location to explain compliance findings to customer’s top management. • Prepare plan for audit execution timing.• As a certified License auditor, my role involved active interaction with the SAP customers globally to monitor their software usage and compliance needs.• Interacting with technical (system administrators) and administrative (purchaser, CEO, CIO, etc.) people from a customer point of view, then with both Sales and Contract department colleagues from an SAP perspective to ensure smooth running of the compliance audit.• Build good working relations at all levels with the customers.• Receiving audit reports, analyzing the data on reports, ensuring correctness of reports from customers, evaluating them and comparing them with their software license agreement (EULA) and detect compliance.• Creating CRM opportunities for non-compliant customers, following up with sales for revenue recognition on these opportunities, queries on the user audit process.• Advice customers, together in meeting with sales team about the audit findings (post audit) and license deployment issues and advice best practices to be followed, thus promoting software asset management on an ongoing basis• Conducting remote audit of customers on request from sales executives, suggest cases for remote audit to sales executives of suspected over- usage after analyzing the audit reports.• Visited customer location to explain the compliance findings to customer’s top management• Liaising with the Sales department in relation to the findings of the license audits so that they can take the necessary action required.
