As a Graduate Electrical Engineer at Wilmar Sugar, I work with a team of engineers and technicians to design, install, and maintain electrical systems and equipment for the sugar industry. I apply my skills and knowledge in electrical and electronics engineering, technology and management, and innovation to optimize the performance, reliability, and safety of the electrical infrastructure and operations.I graduated with a master's degree in engineering with a major in technology and management from James Cook University in 2023, where I learned how to integrate technical, managerial, and entrepreneurial aspects of engineering projects. I also gained hands-on experience in using various software tools, such as MATLAB and AutoCAD, to model, simulate, and test electrical systems and components. I am always eager to learn new technologies and methodologies and willing to innovate new things that would improve the current technologies and benefit the organization I work in. My greatest skills lie in leadership and people management, as I have successfully led and collaborated with diverse teams of students, academics, and industry professionals in various projects and competitions. I am passionate about electrical engineering and its applications in various sectors, such as renewable energy, smart grids, and automation. I am looking for opportunities to further develop my skills and knowledge, and to contribute to the advancement and sustainability of the engineering field.
