Currently involved in development of web browser application on samsung android platform based on multiprocess chromium operating system architecture.Chromium uses "Blink" as its rendering engine and provides a framework which enables Android platform to incorporate this engine to make a full fledged web browser.My responsibilities in the project include :• Designed and implemented the operator specific features.• Development and support for differential feature of web browsers in chromium engine “Blink”.• Worked on performance improvement and analysis of memory leaks using DMP.• Reduced the power consumption of browser in certain scenarios.• Addressing and resolution of bugs/defects reported.• Active participation in Code reviews.Key technologies used: Chromium,core Java, C++,Eclipse IDE, Perforce

Involved in development of Email application on samsung android platform based on Android Stock Browser(Webkit based) architecture and support for differential feature of Android Stock Browser for samsung android phones.WebKit is a layout engine software component for rendering web pages in web browsers. WebKit is used as the rendering engine within Safari and was formerly used by Google's Chrome web browser on Windows, OS X, iOS and Android.My responsibilities in the project include :• Designed and implemented the Email Rich Text Editor.• Enhanced, added new commands and fixed issues in composing the Email.• Analyzed and fixed issues in open source webkit for Rich Text Editor and stock Browser.• Enhanced features like Text Selection, page load etc in stock browser.• Upgraded webkit for better performance of browser.• Adopt dynamic changes of open source architecture for improved user experience.• Active participation in Design and Code reviews.Key technologies used: C++, core java, webkit, Eclipse IDE, GDB Debugger, Perforce, HTML, CSS, Javascript.
